Short Biography

I got my PhD in computer science from the University of Geneva (UNIGE) in 1997. In 1998, I moved to Lebanon and joined the American University of Beirut (AUB) as Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department. In 2004, I moved back to Switzerland and joined the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology - Lausanne (EPFL). I am currently a senior researcher at the database laboratory (LBD) of EPFL.
