Extrait d'une review :
This is an important book which documents the implementation of standard concepts in
the spatial and the temporal modelling of geographical information, but which introduces
important new concepts for application domains, including multiple representations and multi-
ple perceptions, as fundamental parts of the database. The book serves to provide a conceptual
specification and details the implementation of the approach.
..................
This book is reasonably priced and it has all the ingredients for
an excellent textbook (including an extensive bibliography). So I would encourage lecturers
who run courses in database design to consider using this as their text.
